I did a bunch of research and decided I wanted a MP5 clone, and settled on the PTR 9CT. I picked the PTR because Atlantic Firearms has a killer deal for the pistol with a nice case and brace. PTR also has a great reputation for making quality stuff. The PTR 9CT pistol chambered in 9mm is a reproduction of the famed H&K MP5 in a semi auto configuration using a roller delayed blowback system for a softer recoil impulse and greater control under rapid fire. Loading the mag- it was stiff. The 2 mags that were included were the clear type, and cheap. They will break over time. I loaded five rounds of Winchester ammo in one of my HK94 mags. HK Straight mag, bought in 2008 for $30. German HK mag. I was running the American loaded Fiocchi 115 grain ammo this time. A bit less power than the foreign stuff. There is also a lot of value in the H&K, you get an ambi pack and an F BCG. The ambi pack is particularly nice. If you want to run a pictogram lower, you need an ambi pack and that's a $500+ upgrade..
