2024 38 weeks and 2cm dilated

Following. I was 37 weeks yesterday at my appointment and 1 cm dilated 50% effaced. My dr plans on doing a membrane sweep on Tuesday at my 38 week appointment. that’s awesome progress! Had mine done on Monday at 37+2, 2CM and 80% effaced. Lost my mucus plug yesterday and having irregular contractions.. Halloween homecoming proposals

I labored for 24 hours and didn’t have any progress for MOST of that time. I progressed 2cm to 10cm in like two hours after sleeping when I got my epidural. So it just varies. I had my 38 week check up today and am dilated 2cm, 75% effaced, baby is in -2 station. I'm a STM. Last week I was 1cm and 30% effaced. Last week's appointment I was diagnosed with mild pre-eclampsia and told to stop exercising and lifting weights. That helped a lot with my blood pressure and I was told today I can start walking again.I was dilated to a 4 and effaced 90% 6 weeks before the birth of my 3rd daughter. That was the right time for checking. ... I was down for 7 wks with my first and from 16 wks to 38 wks with my second and thoughout the process I found many things to do. I lost mine last weekend and at my Wednesday appointment I was 2-3cm dilated and 50% effaced. Sounds like my doc expects in the next 1-2 weeks as well but could be any day!.
